Before repair, this rug is worn on the ends. The process we recommend for a rug like this is called unravel and overcast

The worn areas are unraveled until the ends are even off. Then a continuous overcasting stitch is hand sewn into the end of the rug to stabilize and stop further unraveling

Holes,rips,tears, moth damages etc. can all be rewoven by hand. Our master crafts people can restore all types of problems to their original condition.

Persian Wool is painstakingly woven into the existing warp and weft matching the color, pattern and weave.

Worn Areas and white knots can be colored to blend in with the other colors of the rug.
