Worn and tattered fringes can have new artificial fringes hand sewn over the existing fringes

We can actually hand weave new cotton into what's left of your existing fringes to create a new, stronger, more natural looking fringe.

New cotton is being woven into the existing fringes by hand.

The binding that finishes the rugs on the sides is being re-wrapped by hand using beautiful new Persian wool.

Before repair this rug is worn on the ends. The process we recommend for a rug like this is called unravel & overcast.

The worn areas are unraveled until the ends are even off. Then a continuous overcasting stitch is hand sewn into the end of the rug to stabilize and stop further unraveling.

Holes, rips, tears, moth damage etc. ca all be rewoven by hand. Out master crafts people can restore all types of problems to their original condition.

Persian Wool is painstakingly woven into the existing warp and weft matching the color patter and weave.

Worn areas and white knots can be colored to blend in with the other colors of the rug.

It is applied to machine made carpets to finish the sides and the ends. A cotton tape is sew from the face to the back of the carpet and is available in numerous colors.

This is another way to finish the ends and sides of machine made carpets by applying a beautiful continuous wool wrapping that is available in numerous colors.
